3D Spatial

Started 3D Spatial design this morning...much prefered how active it was and i enjoyed creating the installations....whilst working in a group. Much more interactive. Considering i'm used to working independantly i actually got a lot out of working with others.
Before starting 3D, i initially thought there would be no chance of me specialising in the area. By thinking that, it allowed me to let go and have fun with the work rather than be caught up with how it looked. - definatly a good thing.
More drawing tomorrow.......

Chelsea Foundationnnnn Rotationnnnn.....

A tad late oooppps....So we all started the first fortnight of rotation... and group C's was - 'fashion and textiles'
Having already assumed i would specialise in this area (bad i know) mean't that i wasn't as free as i possibly should have been.....
kind of annoyed fashion and textiles was our first rotation, probs would have been better if it was at the end when we were all more in the flow of chelsea life, and could get into it a little better.
However the second fortnight was 'fine art' i really enjoyed the looseness of my work that came out of the 2 weeks,  however i was ill on tuesday and therefore missed animation - bit of a bummer.
Fine Art i have to say i enjoyed way more than i thought i would, i like how you are free to interpret things in your own way. The tutors were helpful in guiding you but it was clear that it was finally your decision. --- your art. Also i much prefured the work i created in fine art than the final results of fashion and textiles.

on Monday we entered into the third rotation...'VIS COM'
after walking half way across london to get in --- due to the tube strike. The one day project was really enjoyable, it was refreshing to have more of a guided and structured day, i was really pleased with how our work had more of a story behind it and you could obviously or not so obviously see the narrative behind everyones work. it was different as well to work with a partner, working in a team definatly affects your work -- in good and bad ways.
